I personally love floyds fighting style... your watching a genius at the science...i loved watching gatti fight to see him but his balls on the line and throwing haymakers when he himself was about to get knokced out.... but i also like how floyd fights... i like seeing him make his opponents miss... ad never hit him cleanly.. i like seeing him with his twitching reflexes.. and watching him how he completely analyzes his opponents.. never taking his eyes off them... i like watching him block and catch every single incoming punch, and then counter them real fast... floyd doesnt run... floyd moves, and then sets himself again... ill say that again... floyd, does, not, run... HE... MOVES... he simply doesnt let his opponent do what he wants to do... if an opponent runs in... he runs out.. not because hes scared, because he doesnt let his oponent do what he wants to do...i like floyds style... its genius, its perfect, and nobody can beat it... so what do you do? you knock it... people suck, seriously... and the one thing people say floyd doesnt have is power... and what did he do... knocks out hatton... give the guy respect.. hes ****in earned it

you know what the BEST part of being a Floyd fan is?....listening to the Floyd haters...

you ask who gets excited for PBF fights?...the answer is YOU!....you go on and on about how this is the one....Floyd is going to get KTFO! Hatton/Judah/Baldy/Oscar/whoever is going to KILL HIM!! floyd will be exposed! blah blah blah....

and what happens!?....Floyd wins....and then all we hear for weeks is "floyd is whack, only fights bums, floyd is boring....yadda yadda yadda...." get over yourself Floyd Haters....

you complain that he outpoints guys, no power, doesn't knock anyone out....then he knocks out someone who you all said would knock out floyd and its a fight that almost all writers who saw the fight said was a great fight and he is STILL boring....just shut up and watch the fights....

Also, the fact that Mayweather's fans are puerile and immature, not to mention boxing-ignorant, is a sign only of his popularity. He's the face of boxing to today's teenagers, the ones who don't remember a young Oscar or a young Roy Jones, let alone the 80's Tyson. That's why his fans are the most intolerable, it's nothing against Floyd himself.
im 33 years old and far from being immature or boxing ignorant. i remember the young oscar that could never win the big fight. i remember the roy jones that fought a bunch of bums, excluding hopkins and tarver. tyson was a beast in his prime but he should have retired before completely embarrassing himself.
floyd is the face of boxing because he's the best out there hands down.
