not too much credibility there. there not fighters. im a fighter. i know fights. hatton got beat, ref didnt do **** to help or not help anyone. he was the ref. only thing i disagreed with was the point deduction. he shouldnt of deducted a point from hatton, cuz he didnt even hit floyd.

I had no problem with the deduction, he intended to hit him. But should warned Floyd or deducted for turning his back.

On the HBO thing, it wasn't just them. Its in nearly all in the papers over here and fighers/experts aplenty have echoed the view that the way he reffed it hindered Hatton.

He got KO'd **** it, but it doesn't make it right, nor does it come down to Floyd's skill. Its just that Hatton was ****ed from taking shots on the referee's breaking them up.

i dont claim im a fighter, i am a fighter. unified crusierweight champ said it was ref (british fighter). lennox lewis (british fighter) dont be biased man the ref didnt ruin it for hatton nothing could have made hatton win that fight. floyd has too much speed and skill. accept it. cortez didnt do **** to hurt hattons chances. all there is to it, and you can take that to the bank!

I don't think Cotto has a good chance in this either. But he's earned the shot at the lineal title. He's beaten his benchmark (Judah) and his former champ (Mosley). Fighting fringe contenders like Williams and Cintron is beneath him now. They've not earned it. And just because we think May will win, doesn't mean he is exempted from the fight.

Also, the fact that Mayweather's fans are puerile and immature, not to mention boxing-ignorant, is a sign only of his popularity. He's the face of boxing to today's teenagers, the ones who don't remember a young Oscar or a young Roy Jones, let alone the 80's Tyson. That's why his fans are the most intolerable, it's nothing against Floyd himself.

Floyd cant keep everybody happy.....so why try...
