I agree with you that Calzaghe will retire undefeated. However, I disagree with you about Floyd, I think he will lose to Paul Williams if they ever fight.

Won't happen with PBF. If the money is there, he'll fight.

I believe both guys could retire undefeated. Mayweather has two REAL threats to that goal in Williams and Cotto. Calzaghe should avoid fighting Chad Dawson if he's going to do it.

Both fighters just gave brilliant career defining performances.

I could have swore you picked Hatton to KO Mayweather?

Please refer to the "No Excuses" thread for more details, it has everything you would like to add like

            "Hatton was too small"
            "The ring was too small"
            "Hatton was a bum"
"They should have fought at 140"
            etc

Mayweather's devision has some great fighters. Floyd is in a golden era in his devision, so if he fights again there's a good chance he may get beaten but I wouldn't doubt if he managed to retire undefeated. Calzaghe is less threathened in his position.

As long as Calzaghe stays away from Dawson, and as long as Floyd stays away from Williams, they both have a very good chance of retiring undefeated.

I agree they both have their threats like Pavlik and Dawson, Williams and Cotto.

both mayweather and calzaghe have styles that i really can't see a way of beating...the only risk is if they go on too long...and i think their both too clever for that...
