Eh? The Prince of Wales is always the next in line to the throne of England and Scotland.

No. Wales is a principality, it doesn't have a king, it is nominally ruled by a Prince. The Prince of Wales. The next in line to the Throne of England and Scotland.

              Strange thread.

I was not happy with the reaction to the national anthems but it happens everywhere on every occasion so......

Even in the more so called civilized sports like Golf it happens, remember the 1999 Ryder Cup, when the British anthem was played the Americans fans were chanting 'USA, USA'. Then when Monty had a chance to level they heckled him throughout and even ran across the green.

My point being that in high brow sporting occasions a tribal mentality takes over.

              Every country has these elements.

The meat of my question which was directed towards another poster is that if a welshman is not english then the prince of wales who is an english prince who's title is that of being a prince of wales where welshmen live is a ****in what? good point, Nick Faldo's hotel phone was ringing non stop during the night just to up set him, plus fire alarms in the early morning getting every one out of the hotel, not very sporting.

They were a disgrace only because they didn't trash the joint and lynch Joe Cortez.
