You forgot to mention urango, who some ppl to this day believed was also robbed from Hatton.
No ppl (sic) to this day believe that Urango was robbed. Urango won a single round against Hatton.

I don't understand this new mentality of boxing to say your "retiring" after a loss. Hatton fought the best boxer in the world and even though he lost, proved a lot to me.

There are still a lot of good fights Hatton could be a part of.

Exactly, you gave the best fighter in the world a ****ing fight and went 10 rounds with him in a weight divison you ain't really used to be fighting, that says alot .. Hatton just needs to stay at Jr Welterweight and dominate again.

Well as we all know winning 43 fights and losing just 1 means you suck and never were good to begin with and should retire immediately. I really wish boxing would get over its psychotic obsession with "undefeated". I firmly believe that in this era if a boxer is undefeated it means that he has not been fighting top competition on a regular basis.

yeh retirement is well of the cards for hatton...nothing at all to suggest he isnt a world class fighter..i just think when floyd hits his rhythm hes pretty close to unbeatable...

shame hatton isnt a bit lighter or a bit heavier not much to do a light welter...cant see witter beating him...

maybe pac versus hatton at a catch weight?

Lewis has a point when you talk about boxing purely as a sport - if you can't fight and win a rematch with the person that beat you, then why carry on?

But... from a business point of view, there is no way Hatton will walk away now. He's going to make money while he can. I also think from a pride point of view this isn't how he'll want to go out.

well he is still young and have couple of year in his tank but I think Witter fight is too risky because Witter is a counterpuncher and Hatton should develop some defensive on him.

Paulie is reasonable oppenet but he got super speed on his side

I didn't read what Lennox said.

No way in hell should Ricky retire. He has 2 good fights at 140 waiting for him. Witter or Malignaggi. After Malignaggi beats Herman whateva he can fight Hatton. Retire at 29? Get da hell out of here.
