seriously, Cortez ****** at reffing. and its not even like it mattered about how the fight was going, because half the time Floyd is getting more effecient work done at that close of quarters anyway.

I seriously just HATE refs breaking fights, more than anything else it makes the fight less entertaining. But no, Cortez loves to be part of the fight, which I hate in a referee.

They need to teach refs how to force the fighters to fight their way out, any time the ref says 'dont punch, clean break', you know he sucks. How the hell are you gonna tell fighters to stop fighting? The good ones tell the fighters to 'fight their way out' or something similiar.

Lets have Steve Smoger ref every fight from now on.

I didn't really care who won the fight.I'm just always looking at things objectively.
I just wonder about that particular instance ,what would have happend had the referee not jumped in at that point..Could it have changed the course of events??

The thing is Hatton hadn't even grabbed Floyd after the uppercut , yet Cortez jumps in and breaks it up!!why? Because Floyd had his head down? That's ridiculous.
I'm not a fan of Hatton's style of fighting, but the ref definitely fckd up then..You guys can vouch for that.
