    Fighter of the year 2007??

Who you guys picking for fighter of the year 2007?

At the minute for me it is probably Kelly Pavlik, with Miguel Cotto a very close second. The only way I think I might change my mind is if Hatton knocks Floyd out on saturday but I doubt that will happen.

    Who's your pick??

I completely agree with you. I don't think Cotto captured the drama like Pavlik did.

              Calzaghe.

Still there, still undefeated, still the best all round boxer in the buisness.

Watch all of Mikkel Kessler's fights, then watch the fight against Calzaghe, the guy is a phenonenum !

Next year he is 1 fight away from #1p4p.

My safe answer is Cotto. Beat Judah and Mosley and to sell out crowds. Positioned himself to be the TRUE number 1 contender to either Hatton or Mayweather. Good for him.

HONORABLE MENTION.. Juan Diaz. He beat two titlist, in back to back fights. Stopping both. Acelino Freitas and Julio Diaz. Called out Manny Pacquaio, and is ALREADY scheduled to fight Michael Katsidis. Very good year for him.

So, if he beats.. Hopkins for example. You think that beats Mayweather beating a prime Ricky Hatton? Considering that Mayweather will most likely keep fighting.

If Mayweather defeats with a big UD (118-110) or by KO Hatton he could be a choise.
If Hatton defeats via KO mayweather he should be the Fighter Of The Year.
But we have to remember Kelly Pavlik (Taylor, Mirand) and Miguel Cotto (Mosley, Judah). Honorable mention for Juan Diaz.
