At what time are fights usually held? At night. At what time does the headliner usually fight? Around midnight, right? Well, Floyd is training his body so that his most active time is when he needs it most: at night.

Other fighters train during the day and go to bed early. So, when fight night comes around, their bodies think it's time to sleep and they might not perform as well as if they had trained their bodies to peak at Midnight or 1AM.

    That's the advantage.
Dammit! I was scrolling down...reading...and saying to myself "I KNOW WHY! I KNOW WHY!"

    and then I saw this.

I thought about that too except that's EST, Vegas is PST so the fights are usually around 9pm. Floyd trains a few hours after that.

Mental advantage can help greatly for PBF. As mentioned before, while the opponent sleeps, you're training.

Boxing is a mental sport. If he does this to help him believe he has a mental edge than more power to him.
