Why does Floyd train at night?

Every time I see Floyd on 24/7 it seems as if he's going on a run in the middle of the night.

He says it gives him a psychological advantage but its proven to not to be healthy (messes with hormones) and seems strange thing to do for a champion who needs to be at his peak.

I believe the official line is: "while ya'll training, I'm training and while ya'll sleeping, I'm still training."

Because he's afraid Hatton might see him.

I personally used to play soccer at night and I must say the energy level at night time after a good meal is very high, well at least for me. I'm also a lot more concentrated at night time whether I'm doing a physical activity or mental.

Fair enough, but I've heard Floyd say he often goes for runs at 2 in the morning and his trainer has to get up and meet him.

I don't know, maybe it helps him but its certainly different.

                Good Question.
It does seem strange, but if he's been doing it for a while it hasn't exactly done him a disservice.
I don't believe that bull**** about it giving him a advantage, because it's not like the other fighter isn't training at all.

While Floyd is sleeping, Hatton is training, does that give Hatton any advantage? No.

Floyd maybe just rather train when it suits him, he might like to run/ train at night. But I doubt that he would be doing this with in two weeks to the actually fight.

I also wonder does he do this through out the entire training camp? We're only seeing what they want us to see. This isn't a raw documentary, just a great HBO selling tool.
