Well prime maybe not. Eliete I would still say so.

Tszyu was still a VERY good fighter despite back problems.

But you CAN look at a trajectory...right?

      a) Goes through one of history's most brutal fights.

      b) fails to make weight in subsequent fights.

      c) Looks crappy on TWO consecutive occasions prior to Hatton, nearly losing to a 15 fight guy in one.

      d) Experiences a host of personal and financial problems.

      e) Looks TERRIBLE for the first few rounds, and is KO'd.

Call me crazy... but I see an arc there.

Nobody is saying that Castillo was at the peak of his powers when he fought Hatton but the manner of the victory was undeniably impressive and you can bet your bottom dollar that it would have taken Mayweather more than four to seal the deal.

Kostya was undefeated from 1997 to 2005. Sharmba was recongnized as the best he destroyed him, then Judah was the next best he destroyed him. Kostya was elite and prime when Ricky fought him. Dominicano just for you, Kostya was elite and prime

Castillo was elite and prime in 2002 when Mayweather fought him.

So Ricky hasn't faced a prime and elite fighter, huh?

The only prime and elite fighter that was as great as tzsuy that Floyd had faced was Jose Luis Castillo.

Fine. Kostya Tszyu was prime and elite? So was Oscar.

                  Activity? Even to Advantage Oscar.

                  Health? Advantage Oscar

                  Age? Advantage Oscar.

Sure, I'm willing to say that Kostya was prime and elite... and for every objective measure you give me, I will apply the same to Oscar. Thanks.

Finally, you let your ego down for once, which is a good thing. Now we both agree in writing that Kostya Tzsuy was prime and elite when Ricky fought him.

DLH was elite when Mayweather fought him but he wasn't prime. We disagree here.

If I go knock out Muhammad Ali today....will you be impressed?

                      Is there boxing logic here?
