Floyd will retire after fighting Hatton, AGAIN. And then he will come back and fight with the lure of another 20 million bucks to make.
    EXACTLEY..........

why after CLAIMING he can fight from 140-154, he wont fight HATTON at 140, because he will get stripped of his 147 titles..so he is fighting at 147 against someone who after one fight showed zero interest at fighting at that weight and stated that he was too small for that weight..WAY TO GO FLOYD..

and promoters are billing this as the biggest WELTER WEIGHT fight to be made..LOL..JOKE. mainstream fans being fooled once again.

Who can he fight and earn $20 Million? He was only guaranteed $10M against him the first time around. He's probably making about $12-13M against Hatton, seeing as Ricky is pulling in $10M.

BTW, don't underestimate Floyd's hatred of Arum. I do not see a Cotto fight, even for $15M.

Nope, The Floyd Train has come to it's last stop. I still think he's going all at it with Hatton and isn't taking him lightly or training any less intensely, but I just don't think he really wants to continue in the game.

        Thoughts?
i thought he supposedly came out saying he wants to unify in 2 or less fights after hatton?

if he doesn't fight cotto then i will be very disappointed.

he has to beat cotto. beat cotto and retire and he'll be a worthy legend to me.

floyd has to fight cotto, there is no reason to skip the cotto fight. assuming he beats hatton of course

Last time I checked Ricky is making 16 million for this fight and Floyd is making 20 million. He'll probably make close to that 20 in a unification fight with Cotto, and trust me he'll take it, he loves money too much.

If Floyd was going to retire after this fight, why not fight Ricky at 140? I mean, there would be more belts on the line.

                      Source?

Last time I checked, Ricky was guaranteed £5M, or roughly $10M, to fight Floyd. He might be making more off of advertising, but his guaranteed purse is $10:

                      From BBC
                      From Times Online
                      From The Sun
                      From the Guardian

BTW, it seems Mayweather is making $15M, according to the last article. I guess I was two million off of my guestimates.
