People are in saying Cal is faster than Winky...hmmmm....wasnt Mosley the FASTEST boxer in the world at the time...what happened???
im a huge Winky fan too but lets face reality here. Calzaghe's volume and work rate would just be took much for Winky and Winky likes to take the last few rounds off. plus Calzaghe is a masterful boxer himself. he has the perfect style to beat Winky. he just has to let his hands go and out work Winky. thats why i don't want this fight to happen.

Have you ever seen Calzaghe fight??? Wright is a natural 154 lber and Calzaghe is a natural 168 lber, Calzaghe is too big and strong for Winky and I think he would outwork and outbox Winky for a decisive UD. I will bet all my points on Calzaghe is this fight happens.

Mosley was at his best at 135, smart guy, that's why he was undefeated there. Until he was 36, he only ever lost to taller, bigger, stronger, guys.
You think because Winky has one fight at 170, which he lost, that he is a legitimate 168 or 175 pounder?

Winky defintely is better at a lower weigth but, this guy is a true unhearled warrior and the most durable fighter i think ive seen... Theres no way Joe can pitty pat him all night and not get hurt in the process... Joe is bound to break a bone in his hand when all he's slapping is gloves.. This wont be an easy fight for either and Joe C should be the favorite.. However i want to see Winky win it and i think he can.... I see this one turning out much like the Taylor fight did but unlike JT I think Joe will be more confident and ultimately that confidence that propels him to keep coming forward as i think he will, will be his downfall!

He was fighting Bernard Hopkins..a guy who weighed 184 gainst Tarver...B-Hop could be fighting at Cruiser if he wanted to...remeber he was talking about fighting Oleg Makaev for the HeavyWeight Title months back.

Winky is a bettr fighter than Cal.

He has fought wayyyyy better competition.

I respect what your saying but joe has those new gloves to help his brittle hands. It WON'T be an easy fight for either, I just think calzaghe is too big too fast and every bit as good a boxer as winky.

even if Calzaghe lands on his gloves and missing, he will still be looking impressive to the judges and out working Winky. Calzaghe just has to simply let his hands go in volume and the fight is his.
