I got you. I just want to know you thoughts on the matter at hand and you have a valid point. IMO he should fought him right after thier first fight to erase any doubts that fans may have.

what kills me is .... i see nothing but threads of mayweather getting bashed up and down ... they hold this double standard ...but lets look at the facts ...

in my opinion if you arguably lose the first fight and then you come back and win the 2nd one ...then the first loss doesnt matter anymore ...

critics bashed mayweather for the castillo fight in their first meeting ...

mayweather said ok , came back and beat him ...

i mean damn, didnt ricky even promise he would give collazo a rematch ? thats kind of a ***** move if you ask me... rematches should always be honored ...ALWAYS ....

      winky gave shane a rematch

      forest gave shane a rematch

and both of them had no reason too... because they beat him convincingly the first time around ...

WHEN hatton loses this fight , he needs to give collazo a rematch ...

Hatton doesn't need to do anything. Nobody wants to watch Hatton fight Collazo. It is not as if Collazo has been hard done by, he got a fight with Mosley right after he fought Hatton but he blew his chance so if he wants another big fight he needs to earn it.

its just the right thing to do

You can't have a rematch every time there is a close fight. If it was that close then the sanctioning body or the network would have ordered a rematch but they didn't so that tells you all you need to know.

they didnt order a rematch because boxing has too much politics involved ... if he would have rematched collazo , he could have possibly got knocked out ... and then ricky hatton would be no more ...HBO wanted to keep him, because they can pimp him ....thats all ...

he should give collazo a re-match but at this poitn it won't generate cash, so he is not, but it doesn't make him a coward though, collazo fought a good fight, it gave hatton a scare

barrera fought rocky juarez ... and won a close close disputed decision , then came back and rematched him and beat him ...

mayweather arguably lost the first fight with castillo (depending on how you look at it) ... he came back and gave him a rematch and won ...

Hatton completely disregarded Collazo after that fight because deep down in his heart , he knew he lost ...

                      lets just be honest ...

Floyd rematched a guy people thought he couldnt beat... hatton was too scared to make a statement ....

and hatton is going to beat Mayweather ...

                      nicca please
