At least Mayweather Rematched Castillo, Hatton was too scared to rematch Collazo...

I agree mayweather went back to the gym and improved himself so he could win the second fight.I mean damn man can we please be honest ??? dont understand why people call hatton a warrior and this and that ... lol he (in my eyes lost a close fight) and then instead of rematching this man and proving people wrong ...he ran back to 140 ... who else has done that ??? lets take a look ...
barrera fought rocky juarez ... and won a close close disputed decision , then came back and rematched him and beat him ...
mayweather arguably lost the first fight with castillo (depending on how you look at it) ... he came back and gave him a rematch and won ...
Hatton completely disregarded Collazo after that fight because deep down in his heart , he knew he lost ...
lets just be honest ...
Floyd rematched a guy people thought he couldnt beat... hatton was too scared to make a statement ....
and hatton is going to beat Mayweather ...

I had Collazo win it, twice. Either way it's a non-issue. Everyone wins one they shouldn't. EVERYONE. Get over it people, or stop watching boxing. Technicality ****-heads.Comment

well not because he is scared of collazo but because of his weight,
it was too much for him, staying at 147lbs wasn't in his plans, he ust wanted to get big fights, which he did anyways after he went back down to 140lbs he fought urango to gain the IBF once again (it became vacant when he moved-up) and then castillo, he is taking mayweather @ 147lbs for the $$$ everyone knows thatComment

It sounds like you're defending Hatton.Listen amature. Hatton signed a 3-fight deal with HBO in order to gain some exposure in the states, so that he could eventually set up a megafight with Floyd. Now he's in the position to do just that. Rematching Collazo would've done absolutely nothing for him. If Hatton were to beat him again, it would've proved absolutely nothing. It would've been a complete waste of time, and only stalled his opportunity to be where he's at today.Comment

This is the fifth thread on this subject in the past three days so I am only going to explain this one more time. If Hatton stayed at welterweight he would have had to face the mandatory challenger for his belt. A rematch against Collazo without a belt is simply not feasible. The only other option would have been for Collazo to fight Hatton at light welterweight which is also not feasible.Comment

Think about the logic. He's scared to rematch Collazo, but he went on to fight the hard hitting Castillo, and is now fighting Floyd. All the talk about Castillo being shot didnt come until Hatton KO'd him. Prior to fightnight, ALOT of people were predicting a victory and possible KO in favor of Castillo.Comment

when you fight someone and you win a close match and fans/critics have doubts ...then u prove them wrong ...
thats all ... hatton failed to do that ...
sorry if the thread has been made , i didnt see it ...Comment

First off I agree Hatton is not scared of Collazo but the point I'm trying to make is that at the time Hatton won he could have imediatly rematch (just my opinion) to erase any doubts critics have. I hear people bashing Floyd all the time and put things into a double standard.Think about the logic. He's scared to rematch Collazo, but he went on to fight the hard hitting Castillo, and is now fighting Floyd. All the talk about Castillo being shot didnt come until Hatton KO'd him.
