    Why do you think DLH wants to fight Hatton? Do you really believe it is because he respects him so? NO. It's because he is a draw and DLH is certain he can beat him. DLH was and is more powerful than Hatton, past prime or not. He was not able to wear Floyd down. He TRIED to go to Floyd's body and Floyd's arms and shoulders ate the hits all night long. Floyd was even laughing, if I remember correctly. I am not sure what people think Mayweather is, however he is solid. Period. He's not as weak as people pretend he is to make themselves feel better and he certainly is not worried about Hatton's power. He just frickin fought DLH @ 154.

    Yep, DLH is past his prime. However, he is more powerful than Hatton. AND, I LIKE RICKY HATTON.

    oscar is going to be mroe powerful. that i can not diosagree with. but in boxing it is not just about power. it is how you land your punches. i have punched boxing machines and lost to slightly smaller guys than me. this is because i dont have the right technique compared to smaller guys.

    i am not saying that hatton is more skilled or able to punch better, i feel that hatton can land in his best shots because of his work rate. to me the only 3 things that can beat a very skileld boxer is 1. power as in a ko 2. work rate
    3. not letting them fight their fight.

    we have seen oscars fight. he didnt perform overall at his best. hatton has trained ahrd and is in the greatest shape of his life and very much in his prime. he does not punch 10 or 20 punches. he will keep going and his punches can be hurtful. floyld may very well run round him but he wont war with hatton. my honest opinion a hatton against flyold is better than a oscar against floyld. hatton is hungry and will give it his all. oscar is a millionaire who did not know how to play with floyld verbal game. hatton is using flyold mouth as a motivation.

    if there was ever a rocky real life fight. this is it.

        If that is the best motivation he has, it certainly is not enough. Floyd's motivation is his legacy.

        And, Unseen you bring up some decent arguments, however I can not agree in totality. It doesn't matter because come Dec. 8, the truth will be revealed. I believe it will not surprise many.

        But, that's just me.

          Jesus, some of you guys are very bias. Every since he fought Gatti everybody is suppose to KO him.

          Gatti- most of the haters pick him to ko Floyd= didnt happen
          Judah-same thing = didnt happen
          Baldomir-same prediction= didnt happen
          Oscar= didnt happen
          Hatton= aint gone happen.

              A KO of a 135 pounder does not guarantee a KO of a 147 pounder. Hence the Castillo fight and the Collazo fight.

              Now, what weightclass has Mayweather been fighting in? 147 or 135?

              Didn't he just fight a 154 pounder who didn't hurt Mayweather... like at all?

                  getting his biggest payday.

                  fighting a p4p king.

                  fighting someone who insults him.

                  fighting knowing that a lot of british people are there for him, and millions most likely at home are cheering for him.

                  fighting because he has done it since he will young and he loves the sport.

                  fighting because he is undeafeated.

                  fighting because anyman who is a boxer wants to win. not one man wnats to lose.

                  fighting because he has trained so hard and put in so much work for this fight.

                  these are the things that will motivate him. floyld has many motivations too. may the best man win on the night
