BIG problem with Floyds defense

If Floyd thinks that hes going to be able to stop Hattons body punches with his forearm and counter with the same hand, he has never watched a Hatton fight in his life. Hatton will only need to catch Floyd once or twice on the forearm and Floyds arm will be dead, fact. Does Floyd have the ability to box Hatton off for however many rounds are left, with 1 hand? I seriously doubted his ability to keep Hatton off him for 12 rounds with 2 hands, with 1 it will be a massacre. Uncle Roger says he does the watching of all the tapes, not Floyd. Would Floyd be even half as comfortable with this idea if he watched a tape himself? If Floyd actually uses this tactic, it plays right into Hattons hands and we will have a dramatic stoppage on our hands.

Hatton can only land to the body if he has his other hand either in Floyd's face or holding his arm. But it's a thing where Hatton doesn't need to land a lot of them, just a few.

I have mentioned this before in another thread. Oscar indeed has more power than Hatton from the outside. He does not hit hard when he gets on the inside. Look at the May 5th fight again. ODLH did nothing but use arm punches when he got on the inside. He didn't sit on his punches or use any kind of leverage to speak of. He simply got on the inside and swung his arms using little legs or hips in his punches. I guarantee Hatton throws harder shots from the inside than Oscar. His technique is superior on the INSIDE, compared to ODLH's pure arm punches.

What your not noting is why , its because Mayweather dont allow you , Oscar was trying to be as fast as he can just to land that negates power , if Oscar had of sat down on his punches he would have been countered more , thats why he was not loading up because he would have been slower ,,, many times guys say why didnt he do that or he should of kept doing this , what is the other guy doing to get the reaction you are seeing ?

I agree!! People acting like Hatton got Mike Tyson power!!! DLH has wayyyyyyyyyyy more power then Hatton. Hatton strong point is that he can aply alot of pressure and has alot of stamina. Where the F did people get the idea that he has alot of power?!!!

Hatton has good power but hes no one punch knockouter. Hes a volume puncher. Hes a punching machine. And if Mayweather blocks to manny of this blow with his fragile arms he could get in danger.

There were plenty of times where Oscar had time to sit on his punches. That wasn't his game plan for that night. Oscar generally doesn't sit on the inside and fight. He was trying to do something he wasn't accustom to doing. Fight technical on the inside. Hatton on the other hand will not be using the slap-punch method. His style is different than Oscar. You can say ODLH couldn't sit on his punches because this or that, but the fact remains he Didn't.

LMAO @ people hoping and wishing that Hatton is the strongest opponent that Mayweathe has ever faced who will shatter his bones and rattle his entire frame with one punch. I equally LMAO @ people thinking that Floyd's conditioning is lacking or threshold for pain is so little that one punch to the arm would render it useless. Please, get the **** out of here, all of that is yet to be seen and there's no indication that Hatton would EASILY penetrate the best defense in the game.

if judah can wins rounds by throwing punches then so can hatton. hatton aint as fast but what he does is punch and punch. okay he is for soem reason holding a lot now but if he can punch then he can win it. he punches from body to head and that is what will weaken flyold. you cant avoid a body punch as much as one to the head.

I agree here , I see Rickys work rate as the big problem for Floyd , he needs to be careful that the work rate doesnt steal rounds .
