BIG problem with Floyds defense

The problem is that you're suggesting, with no point of reference that Hatton would be able to shatter his arm when no one else has been able to do it. You're basically saying that he (Mayweather) might as well just leave his body completely open because his forearm is useless against Hatton's fist and he's not slick enough to roll away and take impact off of the punches.
He does have to penetrate his defense in order to hit him solidly in the first place, this is common sense. And at no point did I say he would penetrate his defense, he doesnt have to if Floyd thinks his arms are stronger than Hattons punches.Comment

As for the pain threshold thing, let someone punch your arm till it goes dead. Now box.......
And at no point did I say he would penetrate his defense, he doesnt have to if Floyd thinks his arms are stronger than Hattons punches.
You're mistaking Floyd for a natural 147 pounder......
As for no power, ask Castillo how many ribs he broke in his fight with Hatton.
So you're saying Hatton has freakish power because he broke a shot Castillo ribs. Hell my Little nephew could have broken Castillo ribs if thats your argument.

That part on 24/7 where Floyd was picking off left hooks was cute. Too bad Hatton and Cotto both are very good at switching in left uppercuts to set everything up. It's not going to be that easy. He can think that if he wants.
Hatton is great at finding the openings behind the elbow anyway.Comment

First off Mayweathers defense is flawless......
Second Do you Hatton fan boys realize that Hatton is probly the weakest guy he faced in a long time.
Hes not stronger than Judah....Gatti....Baldomir and definetly not Oscar.
Hatton lays a hard shot on a washed up Castillo and now all of sudden hes going to knock Floyd out to the body.
5 days left..thank you jesus.Comment

I have mentioned this before in another thread. Oscar indeed has more power than Hatton from the outside. He does not hit hard when he gets on the inside. Look at the May 5th fight again. ODLH did nothing but use arm punches when he got on the inside. He didn't sit on his punches or use any kind of leverage to speak of. He simply got on the inside and swung his arms using little legs or hips in his punches. I guarantee Hatton throws harder shots from the inside than Oscar. His technique is superior on the INSIDE, compared to ODLH's pure arm punches.Comment
