I didn't even reply to him after I read that, I just came to the conclusion either he's crazy or he made what I call a piss off post, either way he should know how ridiculous that was.. Calderon overrated? why is he overrated for? he's undefeated, right? he faced and beat the best guys available to him, right? comparing him to Cotto is basically comparing the best fighters of their respective divisions, of course Cotto is better because he's bigger, more known and causes more fireworks but that don't mean Calderon is overrated, thats like saying Paulie Malignaggi is overrated which is absurd, these guys have so few KO's because they know how to BOX.. I feel u NAPO. 100

Remember, you havn't paid one cent to see Jr. fight the fighters he's fought.

Hopkins was older when he turned pro and had an amature background as well as a prison boxing background. And it doesn't stop there, he first started at light heavyweight then DROPPED down to middleweight to pick on smaller fighters. Becoming a vegitarian to keep weight. Not everybody can do this, but if you're going to hate i wouldn't bring up Hopkins, i would use another example.
jealous? where the **** does your ignorant ass pulls out jealousy from? just cuz I haven't paid one ****ing red cent to see him fight doesn't mean I haven't watched him idiot.. for your information Boxing in jail ain't necessarily an ametuer backround it's more like a way to keep from having *****s **** wit u, yea it's good but in jail anyone can Box homie there ain't no stable jurisdiction for jail fighters, there's no Nevada State Athletic Commission for prisoners, that ain't no relative experience thats just brutal fighting, the guys probably had skills but c'mon you think Chavez turned pro the same day he tested on a pair of gloves? you make him seem like he NEVER boxed before which is just as ****** as you trying to make me sound, if you didn't know there are gyms who hold THEIR OWN Boxing cards at local events like one called Batances in the Bronx, you telling me Chavez Jr having Chavez Sr as his pops didn't do that? you mean to tell me the only REAL experience Chavez Jr has gotten is in the professional ranks? cuz if so not only is that ****ING ****** from him and his people but it will take him more than 70 fights to level out.. y'all make it seem like he never threw on a pair of gloves before which is crazy.

regardless what you say dogz Chavez at Welterweight is like Paul Williams at Welterweight, a fighter with a frame of a Super Middleweight EASILY so if Bernard PICKED on these guys then these guys are PICKING on the WW's as we speak.. Bernard Hopkins didn't pick on nobody FYI, he actually took on the best he possibly could but when Bernard was coming up there was hardly anyone there, Bernard was just THAT good, he beat Glen Johnson for the 1st time in his career and lost to Roy Jones Jr, at least he fought though.. don't sit here and try to apply a jail backround in Boxing as legitimate ametuer experience, yea it's rough and yea it's fighting but it ain't the same homie and this is coming from someone who knows people that have Boxed in jail, look at Jameel McCline, HE Boxed in jail and look what happened to him in the pro's, really think what you saying fam you sound ******.. I ain't no hater I just ain't no ****rider and I ain't about to sit here and defend NO fighter, it ain't my style.. 100

Im not biased in favour of my country like you ...get off my face...you dont know half of what i know abut boxing...

Who has Calderon beat?? The only "good" oppeonent in his resume is Cazares, the one who has the technique of a 7 year old....

          Barrera got robbed vs Calderon...

its guys like you, who laughably have him in his p4p rankings, that make me dislike him...
          ______________________________________
In other note, now for serious people, i respect him as a fighter and i recognize his accomplishemnts by winning the linear light fly title from a powerful(yeah all cazares has is power) much bigger fighter.......but come on his minimumweight run was nothing more than 'very good'............is that enough to put him in the p4p rankings??.....so Ronald Barrera is the level of figter who gives a p4p fighter a life and death struggle??????is it really good for a p4p champion to go down with the only more or less godd placed punch he gets hit with???...is it good for a p4p level boxer to struggle with a 21 year old who has fought terrible opposition(and lost the times he stepped up)????.....yeah i thought not...

The thing is, people dont wanna watch you develop for 49 fights, pay for youre ppv's and watch you on every single undercard while you fight guys that are smaller than you or cant hurt you. I mean, i aint knocking chavez jr, hes pretty good, but ****, after 4 years, we want to see him against someone who can fight and punch with some authority.

If Hopkins didint later go on to win the light heavyweight linear championship then maybe you would have a valid point, either way, you cant sit here and make complaints about hopkins picking on smaller fighters after losing when margarito did the EXACT same thing, only thing is, margarito will NEVER EVER win a linear championship, EVER. Why doesnt margarito move to 154 and do some damage? Because he cant.

I havent paid one cent to see chavez jr's fights neither, but i have seen a good 10 of them including the one against ray sanchez, and it was the same old story, Sanchez couldnt hurt chavez and chavez had a power/size advantage like he always does, it gets boring watching a guy develop on tv like that.
