hmm thats odd did you say that when Floyd fought Baldmir over Margarito..I mean Margs the bigger threat but Baldi deserves the fight.

I wouldnt mind at all...Williams would beat Cotto IMO.

No, he said earlier in the thread that he didn't mind Floyd fighting Baldomir...

      I asked the same thing.

I think Williams is a easy fight for PBF. Williams is nothing like Hearns meaning he doesn't fight off a good jab and set many of his punches and combos up off the jab. With that lazy jab Williams throws that would allow PBF to get inside easily because of the way PBF can slip punches. Throwing a lot of punches without anything behind it is not going to get Williams a win against PBF. PBF is too smart for Williams at this stage right now. Also Williams doesn't really fight tall or protect his body well. I don't think PBF has too much of a problem with Williams.

I would rather see PBF fight Cotto because I liked what I saw out of Cotto against Mosley. The biggest change that I saw that changed my mind is the fact that Cotto doesn't really have to set his feet anymore to get his punches off. Of course that takes some of the steam off his punches but that is the case for everybody. But what it tells me is that Cotto can now throw punches back at PBF after PBF throws his punches and tries to move out of the way and keep Cotto off balance. Cotto is the best fight possible for PBF right now and for the near future IMO.

Now i'm directing this to you but this is the bull**** right here, Cotto gets credit for beating Judah while Floyd don't.

            bdevils:

only reason why people find every single reason in the book to bash floyd is because he is the self proclaimed king of everything. King of p4p, king of the all timers, list goes on and on.

many people on the board here were predicting cotto would got stopped because judah was too 'fast' and 'skillful'. Cotto proved them wrong like he did plenty of other guys.

I have been on the cotto bandwagon since abdullaev. so it was inspiring to see cotto knock judah out.

            Not decision him.

            But knock him out.

Floyd vs. Williams would be an extremely interesting fight to me, I would like to see it.

but in terms of rankings and everything...Cotto and Floyd most certainly should fight.

but in terms of how interesting the fights would be...I would actually rather have Williams-Mayweather and Cotto-Margarito.

good question. I think that if he wants the best legacy he should fight Cotto, a top contender at two weight-divisions. Williams is a little off top contender status right now.

That's not saying Williams isn't a good fighter to take on - if only these guys didn't fight 11/2 times a year he could easily fight both....

(I'm ignoring straps completely here except for the Ring belt).
