Floyd Sr blasts Floyd Jr.
Collapse

Its well documented ,,, would beat his wife and kids , promoters never new if he was gunna fight or not , one time demanding another 10grand before he would fight with 10 minutes to the main and a packed house waiting .
get a look at the doco , " Bright Lights Dark Shadows of a Champion " its a great video , Ray was arrogant and many hated him .
It make me laugh as people dig up any **** they can find about Floyd but the same people will praise Ray Robinson ,,, if Floyd had one punch KO power him and SRR are like clones in and out of the ring , it was only power that separates them .Comment

If Floyd fought like Robinson, people would overlook his bratty/obnoxious attitude. Most fans want warriors to praise, not someone who is going to dance and prance around the ring, all the while throwing pitty pat one and done shots. Its well documented ,,, would beat his wife and kids , promoters never new if he was gunna fight or not , one time demanding another 10grand before he would fight with 10 minutes to the main and a packed house waiting .

2 fights doesnt make a mans career. i notice you say that **** alot, but in reality, he only used that style during the fights with baldomir and de la hoya, what about the judah fight? the mitchell fight? the gatti fight? the Ndou fight? The corralles fight? The hernandez fight?
floyd was being overlooked before he moved up in weight and lost his power and started fighting bigger guys for the money and exposure, in the lower weights floyd was easily the most underrated fighter in the sport because nobody was really talking about him outside of boxing circles or when news of domestic disputes came up.
i mean honestly, how long have you followed the guys career? his exposure and hate didint come until after he won the p4p title and moved up.
the thing is, like i said to someone else, robinson was hated in his day because nobody could relate to him, seriously, his skill was so out of this world that people couldnt stand it, his arrogance and just the sheer confidence that came out of him really rubbed people the wrong way. What you dont understand is,
A: Robinson was black
B: Robsinon was arrogant
C: Robinson was black and arrogant
D: He looked unbeatable in his prime
No fighter with the exception of tyson has ever gained massive popularity in this country or worldwide being the combination i stated. Even Roy Jones was only really huge within the black community and hip hop community. Ali was also very much hated in his prime, countless people couldnt stand his ass, especially the white majority.
Seriously, having out of this world talent, being black, and then rubbing it in everyones faces is the recipe for hate. People cant stand that ****.Comment

#1) Floyd never "won" a p4p title. He was self proclaimed after Hopkins.
#2) He's black....for real???? Last time I checked he's more of a **** then he is black
#3) Is it any coincidence that guys like himself and spinks are more bark then bite? Do you remember Hearns blasting guys in press conferences. Or Hagler?Comment
