I just saw an interview like last week done with senior saying Floyd can bust anyones ass, this has to be old, he's just an over emotional guy but hard too, you can tell he's a tough love kind of guy and Floyd loves him but sometimes he talks more than he should, that was one of those times, Floyd got a strong entourage he was just bitter that at the time he was no longer apart of it, now he is and the true feelings come out.. "my son will kick anybody's ass". 100

even though in front of the media they show as if they dislike each other but behind the scene they are love each other.
He didnt want to train Oscar to fight his son, priced himself out making it look as if it was for the money.Comment

I respect what you saying about honouring your parents. I think PBF knows why those people are around. Ellerbe I am not so sure of. He has been there before PBF reached this point. I am not sure if it was a written or television interview where someone stated that Ellerbe used to have to pay his own way to get to PBF fights and PBF would just give him a ticket. It was at the urging of somebody else that PBF added Ellerbe to the staff and started to get him included on the travel stuff where he didn't have to pay his own way. So in a way you can say Ellerbe has paid his dues and remained true to PBF and that is why they have the relationship they have. You never know though until those situations arrive and things are put to the test to really see who has got your back.Hahahahahaha!!!! You are crazy, T.
I understand what you mean as well. However, I was always raised to believe there should always be a respect given a person responsible for you being here. I do believe there is always something a parent can do to make one totally abandon certain principles. Hoowever, I try not to ignore the first commandment with promise which is to honour your parents, that your life will be long.
I am not sure of everything Sr. has done, however for Jr.'s sake, he needs to just humble himself. It will be better for him. AND, his Dad and Uncle are right about the entourage, bootlickers and "Yes" men. If Jr. lost everything most if not all of them would disappear, including that Ellerbe. Just my belief.Comment

well, he isnt claiming that Floyd CANT bust anyone's ass. he is just pointing out that Floyd's attitude and persona is ruining any chances of him being considered an all time great.I just saw an interview like last week done with senior saying Floyd can bust anyones ass, this has to be old, he's just an over emotional guy but hard too, you can tell he's a tough love kind of guy and Floyd loves him but sometimes he talks more than he should, that was one of those times, Floyd got a strong entourage he was just bitter that at the time he was no longer apart of it, now he is and the true feelings come out.. No its not. Just cuz a few ******* on here don't like his attitude doesn't take away from what he has done and will do in the ring. You don't make the HOF for being nice outside the ring as well. Boxing is IN THE RING. He doesn't have to be liked.Comment
