Only thing that troubled Ricky was the 6 weeks he had to prepare for Collazo. 5 and a half weeks actually. He had to totally switch his training camp around. Before he was training to fight an orthodox fighter (Juan Lascano) so he was adapting his training methods to the fact that Juan was orthodox. He had to switch everything up.
Are you kidding me 6 weeks in camp is more than enough all Ricky would do is get different sparring partners and pratice a few different techniques, but his basic training was there.
No excuses for this fight, Collazo made Ricky work for the W.

Hatton may have had a bad night, which is possible. All fighters have them.

You say b+ like it is some kind of official term. Its ridiculous.

didn't hatton have a Flu coming into the collazo fight?

adding to the fact that collazo has knocked out guys when he fought at 154 light-middle.

and hatton tried to put on as much weight as possible for the collazo fight.

team hatton clearly said that was a mistake, and said they will have hatton come in a little over the light-welterweight limit to keep his speed, and be closer to his natural weight class. like at around 142-144.

          collazo is a southpaw, too.

that's right, collazo made hatton work very hard for that close win.

Collazo is a bad fight for anyone yo and he's bigger than Floyd, they have the same difference in KO's but Collazo is taller and though he's not AS skilled he is a South Paw, VERY hard to deal with.. I think Floyd beats Hatton but Collazo was too much for Hatton.. knock downs go unseen sometimes yo it's like Floyd when he went down against Judah, sometimes the ref just doesn't catch it but for the most part Hatton mounted enough of a fight to where he could walk away a winner, Hatton is better than a lot of people think it's just he's sluggish, he tends to hold too much and sometimes, actually ALL the time bases his offense on clinching once he's done hitting, he's shown other tendencies like coming in from odd angles and **** but overall I think Ricky is a problem in his own right.. 100
