This would intresting to see. Calzaghe has great boxing skill but tends to get brave and exchange at some points. that could play right into the hands of Pavlik. Who do you think would win?

Pavlik has a punchers chance of course, but I feel Calzaghe would be too quick for him, I think he would make Kelly miss with his power shots the way he made Lacy miss. Would be a great fight, but I'd like to see Pavlik stay at middleweight for a while and enjoy a decent reign before moving up.

I think Pav would have a better chance then kessler. Kessler is a great puncher no doubt, but very straight foward, eurpoean style, 1, 2's all day. Pavlik is a lil awkwarder & if you look at him, your unsure were he's gonna throw his punch. He also throws more body shots then Kessler. Which could slow down Calzaghe in the later rounds. This could be an interesting fight... Prob more interesting then BHOP vs Calzaghe

I think Calzaghe would win comfortably but I wouldn't count Pavlik out.

Calzaghe spoils other fighters fight plans. He would probably do the same to Pavlik. Kelly always will have the punchers chance. He hits too damn hard. But so did Lacy.

yeah i agree. Pavlik vs Calzaghe would be alot more interesting than Hopkins and Calzaghe. Hopkins would just hold and foul and Pavlik would be throwing bombs.

Nah. Kessler is so fast and fluid, and has a good defense. Pavlik can't defend and throw punches with any fluidity back and forth. Pavlik couldn't get those rounds, and even if he lands a few punches he can't knock Joe out.

How would you see Kessler vs. Pavlik? I'd pikc Kessler to win a pretty wide decision.

I would lean towards Kessler but he kind of got exposed with Calzaghe. he showed that he could be backed up and Pavlik is a come foward type of fighter. he wouldn't want to get backed up by Pavlik. he would get stopped. but i think that Kessler would out point him and use the ring. he has a good defense too.
