he has very good skills im not denying that, but the fact remains that he's a clean hit away from disaster.... it makes for excitement but not a great heavyweight champion

It will recover but not for a long time, and yes Lewis would mop the floor with todays stars, even if he come out of retirment now he would still be the best

You're a revisionist. Lewis was never that good, he was a latecomer and the third best of his generation. Wlad beats him every time.

I agree 100%, the heavyweight division is in good shape, some Americans and Limey's are shellshocked and they try to discredit the division because they're not on top anymore.

NEWSFLASH, Eastern Europeans are gonna dominate for a very long time and you folks better get used to it.

you are a fool. lewis is third best.... not of his generation but of ALL TIME. he sits nicely behind ali and louis. lennox would jump on the weak chinned wlad and you could expect a re-run of michael grant. lewis would bust up vitali and his right hands and uppercut would force a mid round stoppage. to seriously suggest lewis was never that good is embarrassing and you lose all credibility.

We're in need of at least three great fighters? Says you. If you don't agree, think Tyson in his era.

What we need is for our heavyweights to fight more than twice a year.

I'm not satisfied that he was better than Holy and Tyson. He fought them both at the end. He was better past 35 than they were, but he wasn't better.
