I think he did an average of the DLH fight which sold 2 million and the other floyd PPVs which sold around 300,000. Basically the DLH-Floyd numbers skew the statistics lol.

In layman's terms, Floyd has demonstrated that he's able to bring revenue to boxing through ppv sales. Ricky hasn't, which is why he gets paid less and is getting paid less for this fight.

I think we can say Hatton's fans can be attributed to the live gate. I mean 40k in fans clamoring for tickets did aid in the fight being sold out as quickly as it did. Mayweather isn't as "popular" but people pay to watch Floyd because he is the PPV DRAW. He stated the PPV draw dwarfs the livegate draw. Thus, Floyd dwarfs Hatton's contribution to the bout, in gavins own words.
