There is a difference between selling tickets and selling ppv's. Hatton sells TICKETS he has 20-30k in fans BUYING TICKETS to see him. Floyd sells PPV'S he has 100s of thousands of people forking over 55 bucks to watch him get pounded in the face or get a victory. In a way they are two halfs to a money making circle.

Where the **** do you think Floyd fights, in a garage?

I will bet you anything the average ticket price in the MGM, which holds what, about 10,000? Surpasses the Live Gate cash in Manchestor.

What's the average ticket price in a 25,000 person stadium in for a fight in Manchestor? I actually don't know, but I would be shocked if it was even half of what it sells for in Las Vegas.

You are generalizing my statement budd. I am not saying that NOONE paying for a ticket isn't doing so to watch Floyd. I am saying Hatton fans are mostly affecting the live gate (with the absurd ticket demand and 50 dollars paid for closed circuit seats) while Floyd is surley the draw affecting the ppv buys which will come close to the 1 million mark IMO.

Actually mayweather barely did 9,000 for his fight with Baldomir, and half of the people left beofre the fight ended due to boredom. The only reason his last fight was so big because there was a guy named DeLa Hoya on the card. Oscar brought the majorty of the attendance in that fight. You are right this may be hattons biggets fight but when you have over 10,000 people that are willing to cross the ocean to see him fight in another country, that alone would have to make him the bigger draw. Do you think that half that number would go to England if Floyd fought Hatton there. The answer is no. The only people that would travel to see Floyd in England are the people in his Entourage. I beleive Hatton brought 12,000 to see him fight Castillo and the only reeason the numbers weren't bigger for the attendance of this fight from Hattons side is because they were only allowed so much. That is not counting all the brits that will be in Vegas not in attendance watching. Say what you want and this is not hate, this is just a fact that Floyd fanss will not like. Floyd may be the bigger name in ther U.S. but he is not the bigger draw bottom line.

A ticket here in england would cost 30-150 pounds for Hatton fights in a 20,000 MEN arena ...while ticket will probably go as high as 1000$ at the live gate casinos.....promoters are not ****** if they could make more money promoting all there fights in the U.K then alot of amreican fighters would definitely come over here to make that money....But they make more money fighting in front of a 10,000 live gate than if they fought in front of a 50,000 live gate in the U.K.
