    Manfredy was a good fighter actually, who beat Gatti and Robinson in their primes. His first notable loss was to Floyd and only losses there after were against elites.

    As far as Mayweather's opposition. He has the best resume in boxing, hands down. He beat 11 former world champions and a few #1 contenders at 130/135 (the only places where he defended his titles). No one else besides maybe Hopkins and Jones can hold a candle stick to Floyd's resume.

        I forgot about DLH. But given that he's lost all of his biggest fights, I'd have to respectfully disagree. I will agree however, that he's faced the better opposition.

              This thread got "HI-JACKED" instantly.

              Angel Manfredy was a solid fighter, he was a good fighter. Good enough to beat most all contenders but just short of beating the Champions he faced.

              Mandredy used to throw some great techniclly sound punchs. He had great technique in his punchs and had a good boxing style. I liked how Manfredy fought.

              He didn't have the chin or power to compete with the greater fighters but if you beat him in his prime then that was a solid win for you.

              I think his biggest win could be Jorge Paez or Arturo Gatti since he was in his prime, Ivan Robinson was a good win too.

                    He was pretty good. He is underrated now because people on here are young and don't know boxing. When he was young, he was pretty good and considered a threat...especially after owning Gatti and Robinson. But he was chinny and got the smacketh laid on him later down the road and became shot very quickly as a result, and this is what people remember. Also the schooling by Spadafora. That was just a bad style for Manfredy, and late in his journey.

                    The Mayweather stoppage was said to be too early by many.

                      It's far from that simple. He definitely beat Mosley the second time, and definitely beat Tito the 1st time. So no, he didn't really deserve to lose every big fight he had.
