De La Hoya was a great victory though, past prime or not, his name is foreve rlinked with boxing greats.

I'm not discrediting Mayweather's accomplishments, I'm just saying it's a well known fact that he took the path of least resistance in capturing his titles in the different weight classes. Same as Roy Jones did years before, but I would argue Jones' "tin cans" were better than some of Mayweathers because they went on to become titleholders after fighting Jones.

Mayweather's best opponets IMO are Castillo, Corrales, De La Hoya, and Hatton.

Chico looked ****ed up though, something was not right with him that night IMO. He was a ****ing monster prior to that fight, then all of a sudden he's eating the canvas from virtually every punch Floyd threw. It's not like Mayweather hits like Tszyu.
