De La Hoya wasn't in his prime, but I'd still say he was a worthwhile oppennot and looked really good against Mayorga. He also looked good at parts against Mayweather. A lot more then a shot Jose Luis Castillo.

De La Hoya was a great victory though, past prime or not, his name is foreve rlinked with boxing greats.

Ive never seen any of his fights except the Mayweather one, all i heard from him is because i used to train the gym where he started boxing and in the wall they have pictures of him beating gattin and the poster to his mayweather fight.
