I would pick Calzaghe over him right now, but just a simple question. When Joe Calzaghe is 43 Years old can he defeat B level or higher fighters?
Can Joe Calzaghe win fights at the Age of 43?

I don't know. I doubt he's even going to be boxing be then.
I mean he's already racked up 21 title defenses. If he beats Hopkins or Woods he becomes a 2 time champ. What else is there more to prove you know? Maybe he could jump up to heavyweight, but I doubt that. -

i actually respect calzaghe more that hopkins because he is mostly responsible for being the first great dedicated champion in the SM division and is partly responsible for the division being as filled up as it is now and it will get better. Pavlik and Taylor look to follow Miranda to SM making the division stronger. It leaves the middleweight division a bit empty though. Tyrone Brunson anyone?Comment

After Miranda, Taylor and Pavlik move up to Super Middleweight, I hear 'Nard is going to go back down to Middleweight and break the title defense record again.......i actually respect calzaghe more that hopkins because he is mostly responsible for being the first great dedicated champion in the SM division and is partly responsible for the division being as filled up as it is now and it will get better. Being still good at the age of 35 is no big deal, many has done it before but being great at the age of 42 and 43 is crazy, Hopkins is the only fighter in the history of boxing that is still great at the age of 43.
Everyone knows I'm not a big Hopkins fans but if you can respect what he did after the Taylor fights, moving up to beat the #1 light heavyweight in the world and beating the Wright who was ranked P4P #2 then you're ******ed!Comment
