    ....and your point is?
Ali still believed he was the greatest of all time, but I never said he didnt respect and admire SRR.

Floyd and Ali's methods for rising their stock as the greatest fighter of all time are exactly the same, yet one gets praised and the other gets ridiculed.

Also, Muhammad ALi has been, and will continue to be, my favorite figher, so you pretending to know ANYTHING about me is just ******.
And im not going to searching articles from the 60's.
Roll your eyes all you want, but he wasn't as hated as you're making it out to seem. The comparison you can make, if you'd like. But, I'm letting you knwo why it's not really a fair comparison. Apples, and the tree.

When you look back on them.. You'll say Ali was a loud mouth who made CRAZY claims. And Mayweather did what Ali did.

Ok, read the thread before you make ****** comments like this.
At no point did I compare the resume's of Mayweather and ALi.
I compared their attitudes towards the press and claims of greatness.
            Get a clue, son.

No, Im drawing the clear cut comparisons between Ali's attitude outside the ring and FLoyds attitude outside the ring.
And dont pretend like you know me and know what I would say.
Not once did I claim Ali made "crazy" claims.

like i told you before, lil wayne gave the distinction to himself as the greatest rapper alive, but no one but him beleives that, and if any internet fan says otherwise, more than likely they are about 12-17 years old. But mayweather by all means IS regarded as the best boxer in the world right now, its not just some title he gave himself, its the general opinion at the moment among experts.

that is the difference in this argument, because mayweather being the best ever is actually semi-debatable since RIGHT NOW hes regarded as the best fighter in the world. lil wayne isnt even the greatest rapper in the south.

But, come on, there has been some funny **** that he has done.

                      1. Having some piece of **** rappers from PHILTHY RICH rap about Coralles beating his wife before their fight. That **** was great.
                      2. Having people carry him in as royalty in Atlantic City before he fought Arturo Gatti.
                      3. Wearing Mexican colors on Cinco de Mayo against De La Hoya.
                      4. I thought the gladiator entrance as well as wearing pink against Baldomir gave the impression that he though that Baldomir was nothing to worry about, which made me laugh.
                      5. Haha, he said that after he retires Hatton he will allow him to, "mow his lawn and buckle his shoes."

I don't know, maybe it is just me, but I think some of the **** he does certainly qualifies as humorous.
I agree that Floyd is funny. What is even funnier is Hatton's comments about Floyd's entrance against Baldomir: "He came down dressed like Russell Crowe and fought like Sheryl Crow."
