So you think Ali claiming that he was the GOAT was a crazy claim?

I'm talking more about all his opponents being bums, and not worthy. He had worthy opponents. It's hype, I understand. But those are crazy statements.

For the record, Robinson is the greatest fighter of all time. Personally, I'm not a huge heavyweight division fan. Never have been, never will be. But, heavyweights, it's either Joe Louis or Ali, I'll say that.

I have no commprehension problems. It's just simple. Ali was the originator and Mayweather is a Ali-lite, in terms of outrageous claims. Especially since, in all honesty, Mayweather is only ABOUT to fight the best. Ali was FIGHTING the best. Forget what they did in the ring, but you asked why the double standard. So, I'm telling you why. Ali had proven himself more, and is proven at this point. If Mayweather proves himself more, than later on we'll see he might have a case. As he proves himself, we might start seeing things a BIT more in his way, aswell. I'm asnwering your question. It SEEMS you're trying to argue FOR his greatest, and not for the double standard that exists.

YOU have the problems, it would SEEM. Considering I never SAID you SAID that.. Notice the emphasis on SEEMS? Because some of the things you say, seem to IMPLY (more emphasis) that you're arguing more for Mayweathers claims, then the reason why he should be able to to MAKE THOSE CLAIMS.

he can make ANY claims he wants.. However, the REASON he'll KEEP getting looked at in an IRRITATED WAY, is because he has YET to prove himself.

At no point did I compare the resume's of Mayweather and ALi.
I compared their attitudes towards the press and claims of greatness.

It seems like people don't like floyds ****yness but hey if I was number on pound for pound, have won titles in five different classes, and undefeated I would be a ****y son of a ***** too.
