Most rational people would say that they would feel honoured to be talked about in the same breath as legends like Ali but Mayweather's tone is arrogant and somewhat dismissive of living legends like Ali and fallen warriors like Robinson.

All people are different. How do you know he is not honored to be mentioned in the same breath as Ali? Its his opinion of himself though. Everybody in here disagrees with PBF's opinion that he is best ever. What I will never understand is why must yall ***** and complain that he says he is the best ever? Floyd, Robinson, and Ali are three of the most skilled boxers of all time, the difference is that Robinson and Ali were also exciting fighters and they took risks to make the fight that way. Floyd in the other hand isn't as exciting as them and he usually doesn't like to take any risk, even if it mean bore the fan to the limit that they walk out from his fights (i.e. Baldomir fight)

It doesn't hurt me, I wont lose any sleep over it but I must say that he is incredibly ****** to say these things. If he genuinely wants to be considered the greatest of all time then it would be far wiser to be humble when talking about legendary boxers. I don't have any problem with Floyd making a case for himself being the GOAT but it is the manner in which he does it which hurts him, not anyone else.
