Mayorga looked as good as he's looked in years imo.

Even with that I'd say his performances against Tito and Oscar were more entertaining. Mayorga is one of those rare guys who is entertaining even in defeat. This victory didn't entertain me that much.
u didnt like that fight? really? i thought it was really entertaining. hell of a fight IMO.

"joke of a fighter?" Which begs the question: Can you do better?

I really didn't like it, not sure why. But neither fighter impressed me much. I'll pick Mayorga to lose his next fight, against whoever. Unless it's Vargas again.

Even in terms of rounds I should say. 5-5 going into the 11th, and I don't think that's unreasonable at all.

There's an obvious reason why: It's the worse fighter (or version of a fighter) he's faced in years.

We forget how exciting he looked when he wasn't facing the elite.

Yes, I have never gone into a fight out of shape. The way Fernando walked into that ring tonight was a ****ing disgrace. There is no way around it, it was a ****ing disgrace. No fighter should ever walk into a ring that fat especially AFTER having the weight limit raised AND getting an extra 2 months of training time.

I thought it was a very good fight, and the 8th round was great.
