LOL at Mayorga with a cig in his ear. Even though the guy didn't look so good and should have dominated a way past his prime Vargas he still brings enertainment and humor.

He was probably sitting in the crowd. Dumbasses really thought Vargas won that?

            he would be a beast
I think that is going a little far...

You think he could really catch someone like Mayweather?

            Or break through Williams's chin?

Or overcome Cotto's body shots (remember Trinidad's body shots ended that fight, and Tito isn't a great body puncher)?

He might be able to beat Cintron.

He outboxed a whale, but that doesn't mean he can outbox human beings in the ring.

I still don't see much of a future in the sport for Ricardo Mayorga. I'll be betting for him to lose his next fight.....unless Fernando comes out of retirement for a rematch at 180lbs........

Mayorga will probably become a measuring stick for young fighters now.

                    From fight news.....

In his best performance in years, Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga (28-6-1, 22 KOs) sent "El Feroz" Fernando Vargas (26-5, 22 KOs) into a retirement with a twelve round majority decision on Friday night at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
                    WTF!?!?!
