handpicking the easier opponents doesnt make u the top welter
cotto and margarito both have better records
even if mayweather beats the smaller hatton after running for 12 rounds he said it himself hatton is the most overrated boxer in the past 10 years
So, who among those he beat is the top welterweight?

It always amuses me when you poke fun at DW for his lack of knowledge (although he does hold his own in a debate) when I remember vivdly you being heckled for the same thing when you came to the boards, at least when I was posting. It's like the pot calling the kettle black. You became knowledgable over time and so can he, so cut the crap and let him be.

That never happened. You are obviously confusing me with someone else. Check the last couple pages of my threads and tell me those threads are not thought-provoking.

and i refuse to admit a guy as limited as baldomir in terms of skill was the top welter at any time in my opinion margarito was the top welter by default after judah lost

So wait? If the top guy in the divison loses? He automatically becomes a bum and then the guy who beat him is not impressive at all?

That and it goes to another guy who had barely any signifgant names on his resume except for Clotley and Cintron?

Not to mention Baldomir also beat Clotley.

            Wow...Boxing fans sometimes. Wow.

Clottey wasn't even on his resume at that time, too.

Some of these guys shouldn't open ze mouth.

margarito was undefeated for 10 years and was destroying his opponents he was the most impressive at that time at welter and the biggest challenge for mayweather
and i can see your point that it made sense fighting baldomir and judah but they were overrated at the time just look at those guys now their done and will probably never win a title again

I agree with Mozza on this one.
