THE most exciting matchup to be made in boxing. Cotto-Margarito and Cotto-Mayweather in close seconds.

Id favor Kessler, but it could go either way easily

        upps...i made a mistake xD

pavlik and kessler, wow that an interesting fight. i really dont know who would win there. pavlik has shown he has a very good chin, but i dont know how is kesslers chin, so based on that i would pick pavlik.
on terms of power and style they are very similar. and also their best punch is the straight right, so the one that can handle the other guys punches better i think should win.

Good question, Kessler is a bit quicker, a better boxer, and maybe a bit better jaw, but Pavlik hits like a mule. I'd like to see Pavlik stay for a couple of years at middleweight, but this would definitely be an entertaining fight. I'd like to see Kessler/Miranda first.

i think your right Pavlik would just get out smarted IMO ,I like Pavlik but he is a bit one dimmensional although that 1 dimmension is a great jab ,awsome power ,Heart ,good chin ,lol

i think Kessler would have the adavntage in ring smarts counter punching ,Kessler by decision ,Pavlik still a great fighter though

I think Kessler would win a comfortable decision.

I dont think either fighter would get "outsmarted"

These are two very smart fighters, and guys that alter their style based on their opponent.

Pavlik has tons of dimensions, i dont understand how he got this rep as one dimensional.

He has a great jab, he is a technically sound boxer, he can obviously slug when he needs to, has competitant defense and even very good defense when hes on the defensive.

And he hits like a truck and has a good chin... thats like every dimension...

Kessler has all that too. It would be an awsome fight. I cant see it going the distance to be honest

Yeah Kessler impressed me in that win over Andrade. He just kept pounding on that iron-chinned son of a gun the whole fight. I see him beating Kelly to the punch a bit, en route to a close decision. But if there is a KO in the fight, I see Pavlik doing it.
