As far as skill, they are two completely different leagues. Eubank is a cut above. What Calzaghe has is very flashy hands, an awkward stance and awesome agility for a big, strong guy, but I don't consider him a particularly skilled fighter

He squares up with his chin in the air, Eubank wouldn't have to look pretty doing it remember, he just has **** him into the ropes

Remember, Eubank's knee was gone when they fought so he wasn't using his ring generalship or finding the angles to attack, plus he had no strength through being weight-drained, and he still gave Calzaghe absolute hell for 12 rounds
If left hook Lacy (wow what a left hook) and Kessler (the mighty Thor like dane with a hammer as a fist) cannot beat Calzaghe why are you so confident that Eubank would beat Calzaghe ?

Exactly, Lacy was a one-dimensional joker and Kessler a reluctant robot

Froch smashes Calzaghe to pieces, Hopkins takes him to the cleaners

Calzaghe misses far more than he lands, and every time he falls short with his slaps/swings/cuffs/flurries he's going to be tagged by Froch's hard rangey pistols (while squared up, with his chin up in the air), if he looks at the canvas while throwing punches (as he often does) he's going to find a big, juicy right uppercut planted on his jaw

If that fight happens, ofcourse (which it won't)

There's little doubt in my mind that Froch would take him

u dont have a strategy of how Eubank beats Calzaghe cause it just would'nt have happened Calzaghe has more tools plain & simple

Eubank might have been popular but i dont let that impair my judgment ,Eubank was a gutsy fighter but Joe has heart in abundance & better allround ability to go with it

Joe would'nt miss Froch his defence is awfull

even if he does miss occasionally with shots he forces the fight and outworks people

i cant believe u think Froch would beat Calzaghe ,Froch aint even on Calzaghe's level
