Of course, that's his character. But I still believe Eubank would have beaten Joe in his prime. Eubank also didn't have the reflex to avoid Joe's combos.

We can argue til we turn blue, but I stand by my opinion. Eubank over Joe.

When we talk about a prime Calzaghe we are talking about the Joe of the last few years not the inexperienced rookie who had never done 12 rounds that outworked Eubank

in your opinion how would Eubank go about beating Calzaghe ,and what version of Eubank was prime

Eubank would always be outworked by calzaghe & would always tire which ever way u look at it he could nt match Calzghe for speed or Boxing ability either

Eubank dis-locates the square Joe with his movement and flurries him into submission to the body and head

And I certainly think Calzaghe was a better fighter against Eubank than he was against Kessler, he looked shot to **** in some areas the other week, and back then he was sharper and stronger and could **** abit, and not just quick and awkward

are u crazy Eubank's attacking Boxing was poor watch how Calzaghe steps back & hits round the head with a right hook in round 2 makes him look like an ameteur

Eubank had a great chin & lots of heart ,Calzaghe has all that aswell but also has great hand speed ,can box great workrate footwork ,and he is a southpaw

Don't waste my time. Even if I did, I'm sure it wouldn't change your opinion. That's my point. You're not going to convince me and I certainly won't take the time to convince you.

It's like this: Your opinion is no better than mine. Even if I'm right.

Eubank couldn't deal with southpaws, Gary Stretch and Dan Schommer had less problems against him than Calzaghe did as far as outboxing him from a southpaw stance

As far as skill, they are two completely different leagues. Eubank is a cut above. What Calzaghe has is very flashy hands, an awkward stance and awesome agility for a big, strong guy, but I don't consider him a particularly skilled fighter

He squares up with his chin in the air, Eubank wouldn't have to look pretty doing it remember, he just has **** him towards the ropes

Remember, Eubank's knee was gone when they fought so he wasn't using his ring generalship or finding the angles to attack, plus he had no strength through being weight-drained, and he still gave Calzaghe absolute hell for 12 rounds
