Id pick Pavlik by KO over Calzaghe, but thats if the fight goes how i see it going. Calzaghe has tricks up his sleeves so who knows.

I see him going backwards by round 4, after he tries furiously to get Pavlik to back up. ANd Southpaws like Calzaghe cant fight going backwards.

He fight hurt Pavlik early cause of the division change and his handspeed, but if Pavlik could survive what Taylor dished out in round 2, theres no chance Calzaghe finishes him off
WARREN is a ****, Calzaghe NEEDS to move up in weight. He can NO LONGER boil him self down to 168lbs

and yes PAVLIK will beat ANOTHER weight drained fighter..(ahahah Miranda)

Give me an example of The Blow not being able to fight going backwards.

Also, give me reasons why Taylor at middle is more offensively formidable than an underrated puncher like The Blow at supermiddle. Bear in mind The Blow won't gas after throwing two punches like Jermain did.

Its a style thing. History shows fighters like Calzaghe cant fight going backwards.

I could be wrong, but im probably not. Bika gave Calzaghe such a rough fight because Bika was so strong and wouldnt go backwards. At the same time, Calzaghe wasnt neccesarily going backwards, which is why he won so clearly.

Pavliks jab and straight right are gonna have Calzaghe going backwards and and i think Pavlik could knock him after he beats him up along the ropes for enough rounds.

Calzaghes a slick dude, maybe he'll be able to avoid a jab and just come in all wild and messy. He could definetly win the fight at way, but Pavliks a good technician. I think he has Calzaghe going backwards much of the fight.

If he doesnt, then its a whole different story and Calzaghe could embarrass Pavlik

So HBO wants the fight, Bernard wants the fight, but Calzaghe has his promoter pushing for someone else, makes sense...You have to really be an idiot if you think Calzaghe should have any leverage against Bernard. Millions have people have paid to see Bernard fight, and Calzaghe is claiming he is the draw or name or whatever? Yes, technically, Bernard lost twice to Jermaine but at least we can name legitimate fighters that Bernard has fought.

Lacy was meant to crush Calzaghe!!! HE DIDNT

Kessler gave Calzaghe his hardest fight.

Why dont Pavlik fight Joe at 175? or 170 ??

Bika was an opponent The Blow didn't respect and gave a ****ty performance against.

History means nothing... I'm not talking about boxers of the past with similar styles, I'm talking about an individual. Watch his fights, you'll see plenty of backfoot fighting.

Calzaghe would win a wide decision over Pavlik. Joe's movements are too good and Pavlik is too slow to land enough flush shot to possibly KO, or decision Joe.

No it wont. I am sorry to say that most people in the UK probably think Clinton Woods is Tiger's brother.
