Mayweather wept right after the stoppage, reveling in his spectacular PPV performance. Upcoming welterweight superstar Miguel Cotto watched from ringside. So did welterweight champion Ricky Hatton, who was serving as a commentator for the BBC. But seeing this one-sided affair close-up may given each fighter second thoughts about hopping in the ring with Mayweather Jr.

Why isn't PBF calling Cotto then? It may be news to us how good Cotto is, but not to Mayweather and people in the business. Cotto is the #2 guy at WW, why not fight him after Hatton. I think PBF is looking for the easiest fight, which is fine. But if he doesn't fight Cotto, for any reason or excuse, his #1 status should be questioned.Comment

MY REPOST
YOU SEE FLOYD CALLED MOSLEY OUT IN MOSLEY PRIME.....
and mosley being the ***** that he is KNEW he would lose...and once he lost HE KNEW THAT, that people would of said hOW you let a lightweight bet you @ 147 and in your Prime........
THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO EXCUSES FOR MOSLEY OR HIS FANS TOO MAKE....
and so what does mosley do....
HE WAITS FOR AN EXCUSE...
HE WAITS UNTILL HE IS OLD AND HE HAS NOTHING ELSE TO LOSE IN HIS CAREER AND EVERYTHING TO GAIN AND THEN HE CALLS OUT FLOYD .....
LOW RISK/BIG REWARD.....
THATS WHAT I CALLED A ***** MOVE....
I HOPE FLOYD DOESNT GIVE HIM A FIGHT "**** EM"Comment

PBF asked for a Cotto fight before. For whatever reason it wasn't made. I think the Cotto fight will happen. PBF said he would never fight Mosley but during the build up for the Cotto vs. Mosley fight PBF stated loud and clear he would fight Mosley after the Cotto fight but Mosley lost. So let the **** play out I think it happens. I feel PBF is just playing on peoples hearts and minds about not fighting Cotto. That way when it is announced it will create more of a stir and interest since he said he wouldn't fight Cotto at first. I could be wrong and he really means he won't Cotto but I doubt it.Why isn't PBF calling Cotto then? It may be news to us how good Cotto is, but not to Mayweather and people in the business. Cotto might actually have to pull a PBF and buyout his contract from Bob Arum to make the fight happen. PBF did it for a De la Hoya fight don't see why Cotto can't do it to make a fight happen with PBF if that is what is required to make it happen.Comment
