I honestly wouldnt. If a fighter publically stated that after his next fight, he wouldnt not be fighting for the rest of the year, then how can anybody accuse him of ducking? Dont get me wrong, i was hoping that Shane changed his mind and took the challenge.

I remember the interview very well after the Bruseles fight. I'm simply commenting on why does he want to fight Mosley now after he loses to Cotto.
Before he Mosley fought Cotto he was just a "sparring partner."

When it comes to Floyd its a double standard. I agree with homie. Just like when Floyd fought Baldomir(which was ranked #1 in the WW division) instead of fighting Margarito. It seems like they put Floyd to higher standard or something. You will never please these haters I see.

What i do remember is: Floyd desperately scrambling for an opponent prior to inking a deal with Baldomir. He had a ppv date with no opponent. He went to Shane, but Shane had already announced that he would take the rest of the year off to fullfill family obligations. He went to Oscar and Oscar turned him down. He even went as far as trying to get a fight with Spinks zzzzzzz. All the while, Margarito was the only fighter willing to get in the ring with him. Floyd make 101 excuses as to why he wouldnt fight Margarito. I wonder what Floyd would've done if Gatti had beat Baldomir. Hmmmmm?
