You don't rate P4P on how long a career a person has but on his skills. Calzaghe has shown he has the skills to beat almost any fighter out there if they were equal in size/weight (the only exception is PBF, of course). Calzaghe's style at 130 beats Pac; at 160 beats Pavlik (we might see this one at 168); at 122 he beats Vazquez or Marquez.
That's how you rate a P4P fighter. Yes, their record plays a part because you can only see a fighter's true skills when he's in the ring against good fighters but, overall, you have to rank on a fighter's abilities and skills above his record/opponents.
