lol He takes on Clottey when no one else is taking that chance.

lol He skips a fight with Cotto to fight the giant freak prospect of the division "Paul Williams." He almost tips Paul over late in the fight.

lol He takes on Cintron who was a power hitting prospect and Knocks him the **** up and out.

      Yet he hasn't "proven himself."

Tony don't give a ****, He'll fight anyone. Just for ****s and giggles lets get Marvel to release a license for the Incredible Hulk to fight Tony Margarito, I already know Margaritos down
For reals man, but then the haters will say the Incredible Hulk was a bum, Margarito can't win. He just has to stay active and keep on fighting the top fighters that are willing to fight him or top prospects or fighters that beat top prospects as he did with golden.

We haven't had one in a while, and it's not like Margaritos stock plummeted after the Williams loss. It wasn't like he got KTFO like Cintron or Judah. I mean down the stretch Williams was gettin tore up, he looked like he wanted to tip over a few times late in that fight.

Margarito vs Cotto, I mean plenty of people are sayin Margarito is garbage, so I guess if he's garbage Cotto can take Margarito for a tune up before a Mayweather fight?
So you think a proven fighter with legitimate championship wins on his record should fight an guy who lost to his only legitimate threat of an opponent just because? Isn't that why RJJ, Nard and many more are criticized? For not going right after the best fighters out there and "settling" for lower levels of competition just to make a buck. You guys are so ****ing hypocritical its amazing.

Just by that, you're basically sayin Margarito is garbage. And if that's the case, why not just make it a easy little tune up fight for Miguel Cotto?

I mean if you think Margarito is a step down, thats your oppinion, I cant change that. lol But c'mon I think we can both agree that Margarito isnt Glen Kelly lmao. So this would be nothing like Roy Jones vs Glen Kelly lol, atleast I don't think it would be.

I'm saying that Margarito is at best the #4 Welterweight and thats being very generous. Throw in the fact that there are guys in surrounding divisions who make for better fights and I'd say Margarito is Cotto's 7th option at this point and THATS BEING GENEROUS. Why would he brush off his first 6 options for his 7th just to "get a tuneup". If any other fighter did that same thing to Margarito, you'd never let people hear the end of it.

because he lost to williams right? you should see how many people want to see Winky get another title shot, AFTER HE LOST TO WINKY. Why is this differnt for Winky, yet Margarito has to start over?
