Cotto's whole career has been preparing for Floyd. They have always thrown him in there with good boxers, fast guys, to prepare for an eventual showdown. Im sure Arum has had that fight in mind for years, so yes skill wise Floyd has an advantage, but with Cotto's whole career headed towards Mayweather, Id have to say he would have a very good chance to win.

Doese he have a shot? Yes he doese but he won't wear down his opponents late like he has done to many. Mayweather wins a 116 - 112 decision over Cotto. Nobody Cotto faced has the reflexes and the brain of Mayweather.

Mosley is similar to Mayweather? How? They're both black and have good handspeed? That doesn't make sense.

I have to think about the fight more, but Cotto has a good chance of roughing him up like he did another slick boxer in Malignaggi and winning a decision.

I still have to see how he does in the Hatton fight with a come forward fighter like Hatton, but most of the recent mistakes is people have been trying to outbox the greatest boxer in recent history (Mayweather). With a come forward fighter like Castillo (who gave him fits in the first fight), Hatton (who we've yet to see what he'll bring to the table), and Cotto, you can't really say he'll dominate them because they don't come to try and outbox, so they have a good chance of being the more active fighters while Mayweather is just moving backwards the whole way and losing a decision.

I thot it was a good show by cotto, he wasnt hurt or rocked badly at all and i expected him to be by big hitter Sugar, but thats how things go. There was lots of new things i noticed about cotto tho, the cross over defence in the early rounds was leaving him wide open for left hooks to the body when mosley jabbed and he only did this a few times in the round which was ****ing annoyin as hell, and i was screaming for shane to uppercut cotto all nite. was impressed how cotto handled it tho he wasnt shook up and stayed claim, and randomly started going into the back foot in the last rounds maybe playin it save which is cool with me cos he got the win, but shane showed cotto can be outboxed if not out punched.


oh and i just wanna ask, was this more impresave than floyd beatin oscar, keeping in mind Cotto is younger than floyd and shane is older than oscar by 16months
