Cotto isn't ready for Mayweather and never will be. As a fan he doesn't have a shot of beating pbf. Cottos style is made perfect for Mayweather. Mosley almost pulled it off and Mosley is similar to Mayweather but doesn't have the reflexes and defence of Mayweather. Mayweather would beat Cotto like he beat Oscar 116 - 112.

Cotto should fight Margarito or Hatton(even if he looses) They would be exciting fights and very winnable for Miguel.

one thing that mayweather wouldnt do is make himself a target for cotto, when mosley moved around it clearly bothered him, also mosley had his head very stiff and would just drop his hands eating shots from cotto, mayweather never does this, however i think at this point, Cotto is the fight that will earn mayweather the most respect.

Plus with Mayweathers reflexes it would be hard to hit him clean. Just like you said Shane's head was stiff and ate a lot of punches because of it.

can i ask why you are cosigning that assesment of floyds fighting style as if thats what he has done his whole career? if that was the cause, hed be about as highly regarded as corey spinks. floyd fought like that against 2 guys who outweighed him by almost 20 lbs, i mean come on man.

Run? Never seen a boxer run ... except Frazier in the foreman fight...that's weird if running can make you undefeated and win 5 titles in different weight classes and make history... it's a good game plan and encourage everyone to do so.

I think you would be suprise, cuz all Cotto has to do is put the speed on, since he's already got the power. I think even Maywether himself has his doubts as he refuses to fight Cotto. I do respect Maywether, but he can be a ***** sometimes.

Floyd hasn't fought many folks in there prime & he had trouble with castillo, who has a somehwat similar style as Cotto. I stand by what Ive been saying for so long...Cotto or Paul Williams can both beat Mayweather...the fights just have to happen.

I will have to agree, Mayweather will be a hard fight for Cotto and for anybody in the division. Thats why he is #1 p4p
