"Cotto ? Can't take one to the chin"- Floyd Mayweather (and he said this after the Corley fight but before Torres) ...

That's the issue you have to see punches coming. Cotto is so one dimensional he is easy to catch. and just because you dont go down doesnt mean you have strong chin. Cotto's chin is waaaaaaay below average of an elite champion there is no denying or making excuses for it. Never have i seen a fighter been rocked so often in what it seems like every fight. Seems like everytime judah landed a clean punch cotto was wobbled. Judah doenst have the descipline or heart to finish him. And judah never hurt mayweather lol i dont who said that. that knocked down was mearly just a punch when floyd was waaaay off balance after a punch. Cotto has a weak chin he's been able to still win because of the level of his opponents yes including judah he has great talent but is not great. Cotto is in for a rude awakaning. He can rest assured if he's one deminsional with his head down trying to land these wide body shots he will get caught and from past experiences he will get wobbled and mosley even at 36 is waaay above anyone he has faught he will finish cotto guaranteed!

Judah hit him with single shots. Being able to take single shots from Judah without getting Ko'd does not serve as eveidence of a good chin.

Cotto's so offensive minded that he just doesn't see some of those counter punches. Even a granite chin can be rocked if the fighter doesn't see the punch. A weak chin won't hold up even if the fighter sees the punch. Thus, I conclude that it's not Cotto's chin that is suspect, it's his defense that is suspect. This clip of Cotto v. Corley will show you what I mean:

IF his chin was truly suspect, there is no way he could have made it this far, IMO.
            Made it this far?

Have you seen his list of opponents? They couldn't crack an embryo.

Regardless of what we think or say Top Rank hasn't seemed to have alot of faith in Cotto's chin. Although, they do deserve credit for making the leap with Pot Shot Judah and now Old Man Mosley.

He stood up well (considering) to Judah's punches, but he was hurt as many as 6-8 times in that fight. Twice we saw him wobbled, and a whole series of times he simply froze in his tracks for a few seconds and then recovered. Cotto was clearly dazed and slurring his words at the post fight press conference. The significant thing is that Judah hurt him pretty much every time he hit him with anything meaningful. The shot Cotto got hit with in the second round was a short compact little straight. No extra mustard, and that had Cotto rocking like a drunkard.

Addison, I have alot of respect for your observations, but we disagree here. Ricardo Torres can HIT. Cotto shook off Torres' bombs and beat Torres into the canvas.

Right, and I'm not trying to give you a hard time, Wiley.

                  You have good thoughts always.

Regarding Torres; this is what splintered Cotto off in the direction of fighting the light hitters that "haters" like myself refer to when we say that Cotto has fought guys that can't crack.

Torres has a pretty good punch I'm sure. He's not the ****ing hype that Cotto fans try to make him to excuse the situation, but he's aiight.

he doesnt have a glass chin.. but he needs time to recover when he gets rocked.. its happened in a few of his fights.. the problem is here.. when mosley rocks him, he will finish.

You can put Mosley on that list, in advance. The difference is Mosley is more relentless than those other three, and he will be waiting for the nut-shot. Cotto is a slow starter so it wouldn't surprise me if Mosley ends it the first round.
