LOL at people saying Cotto has a weak chin

WTF. Judah hit him with bombs and didnt drop him, if he had a weak chin he would have been knocked out in that fight. Judah made Mayweather touch down and landed alot heavier blows in the Cotto fight

It's not the worst in the business by any stretch but I would say its below average. He did take some bombs by Judah and stayed on his feet but he's been rocked so many times it seems to be a trend.(getting stunned by a clean punch) I think the fight tonight will answer allot of questions.

It's hard to judge his chin. He gets rattled, but never stopped. He could have been drained at 140. He's only been hurt once since, and that was in the third round of the Judah fight.

Tonight will be the true indicator most likely even though Mosley can still punch.

when judah hit him, he clearly looked damaged and his legs kinda shake a bit. he was stopped for a moment, and a guy like mosley i think would not give cotto the chance to recover.
getting knock down has nothing to do with the chin....cotto has been able to not get knock down cos of his great determination. for example....librado andrade has a granite chin and he has been knocked down.
overall cotto doesn´t have a weak chin. but he doesn´t have a great chin either. but he supplies that with his determination and will, and lets see what will happen when mosley hurt cotto. this is a tough test for cotto, cant wait to see what happens :P

I've just been watching his fight with Torres again and ti has to be said that although Cotto was dazed he managed to survive some absolute bombs that came from Torres. However, if Cotto gets himself in a similar position tonight he will be in trouble because Mosley is far more ruthless than anyone else Cotto has faced.

Cotto dosent have a weak chin, Does he have the greatest chin? No, but shane isnt really the type of guy that has scary power. Shane cant Ko cotto with one shot, if you look at shanes fight with Collazo, you will see shane throws alot of arm punches. Thats not going to get it done against Cotto.

AWWW **** it's on baby. Listen in the Corley fight, he was hit in the tempol, not the chin. Torres tested his chin more than anybody else. Keep in mind that Torres is a champion now. Judah? Blasted cotto in the first rd wih that uppercut, and Cotto took that **** like a man. The fact that he gets rocked when caught off and keeps coming guard just proves that he is resiliant.

If you don't see the punch coming, even a granite chin can be rocked. It appears to me that Cotto has a good chin, but he's so offensive minded that he gets hit with some counter punches that he just doesn't see. IF his chin was truly suspect, there is no way he could have made it this far, IMO.
