    i know.
in all honesty i see miguel having trouble with shane, shane is a "sugar"
it won't be a landslide by any means to me,i just believe that constant pressure will be the death knell for mosley in this fight.thing is in his loses to forrest and winky they both had significant height and reach advantages, but they both pressured as well.

Mosley has been practicing that "power jab" if it's effective it could control the pace and distance of the fight. Cotto is in for trouble if Shane get's going. You could say the same for Shane though if Cotto get's going damn I CAN'T WAIT.

Although forrest, and especially winky pressured shane during their respective fights, it wasn't the raging bull Jake LaMotta style of pressure fighting that cotto employs. When they applied pressure, they did it behind the jab, skillfully judging and maintaining a certain distance, while simultaneously varrying the intensity of their punches. When shane attacked they went into an effective defensive posture. This is totally different to what cotto does and his natural attributes will restrict him from doing so.

With that said I see your point.

For miguel to have any chance to win, he must put as much pressure on mosley as he can. Fighting otherwise would not be intelligent because besides the fact that mosley had trouble with wright's pressure, pressuring an opponent into submission is what miguel is built for and most comfortable doing. Experimenting with any other style at this point may be detrimental to his chances in winning this fight. In other words, miguel cotto has to be the best miguel cotto he can be tonight.

north star good points in order for cotto to have any chance he has to come in with a strong jab and than maneuver his body position where his head is under mosely chin. this serves to purposes 1. he can go to the body and 2 mosely can not get off with his flashy shots. because if cotto fights mosely from about two away mosely is going to dominate. cotto has to make it a phone booth war to have any chance.

I too am part of the Mosley whoops Cotto coalition.. I don't hate Cotto, I like the guy he is very exiting to watch. I just don't think he can pull it off against Mosley.

... the only ONE two things I will give Cotto Credit for is his ability to get hurt and ableness to come back (which shane has demonstrated against forest but although he didnt win . he was knock down 3 times and managed to finish the fight)

mosley jab will look better and he will beat cotto to the punch ... what the hell does Cotto have besides heart and determination ??? nothin spectacular ... im sick of people brining up body shots n **** like cotto is the king of that ...

Zab juda took many body shots from floyd and zab was hurt as well...

mayweather and shane both have amazing ab muscles that able them to take body punishment ...

Cotto is slow as hell man ... no speed at all (well compared to shane at least) ... Mosley has the reach advantgage ...better chin ... better combinations ...

Just for the record this will be a one sided ass slaying ...

and remember you heard it here first.

dont you look like a fool now. Cotto's jab was a big part of his victory
