Who's better: Cotto or Hatton?

Cotto was always touted as a possible opponent for Hatton on UK TV in the run up to and immediate aftermath of the Tszyu fight which says to me that Hatton's camp must have been pretty keen on the fight as well.

im not a ricky hater.cotto doesnt call anybody out,thats not his job,whoever they put in front of him he fights period.

ps if mayweather says he wont fight cotto i hope hatton beats his ass.

For sure. I hope Hatton and Cotto fight one day because I think it would be explosive and somebody would get stopped.

yeah i think hatton is a little bit above cotto. Just because of his resume so far. But it is a close call.A very close call.

I've heard differing opinions on this when I said that they used the same style.

Some people say Hatton is more athletic and his footwork makes him better.

Some say that Cotto is stronger and more relentless, which makes him better.
